ADVANCE GRIP

INNOVATIVE ERGONOMICS. Thanks to their innovative design, you can work with the ADVANCE Grip handle elements more ergonomically than with comparable STIHL brushcutter handles. In addition to their shape, the side-mounted locking lever supports intuitive operation. This allows for more options for adjusting your hand position depending on the task at hand. These handles can be retrofitted to older brushcutters.

Compensator – maintenance-free for longer

The STIHL compensator in the carburetor maintains consistent engine performance, emissions, and fuel consumption over time, even when the air filter becomes dirty. This means maintenance-free operation can continue for longer, and the filter only needs to be cleaned when engine performance has significantly decreased.

Anti-vibration system – vibration reduction in grip zones

Excessive vibration from the handle of a power tool can cause hand-arm vibration syndrome. This led STIHL to develop an anti-vibration system. Machines equipped with the AV grip zone system significantly reduce vibrations generated by the engine and attachments.

STIHL 2-MIX Engine – high power with low exhaust emissions

The STIHL 2-stroke engine with 2-MIX technology delivers high power while saving up to 20% fuel compared to equally powerful STIHL 2-stroke engines without 2-MIX technology. Exhaust emissions are reduced by approximately 50%.

Manual fuel pump – quick start-up after long periods of inactivity

A simple press of a button is all it takes for the manual fuel pump to deliver fuel to the carburetor. This reduces the number of pulls on the starter rope required to start the engine after a long period of inactivity.

Large filler holes

The transparent 0.75-liter tank allows for easy refilling, as the fuel level is always visible. A large filler opening also makes refilling easier.

Operation in winter mode

With a simple movement of the slider, you can change the summer/winter mode setting. Winter mode prevents the air filter and carburetor from freezing.

Durable air filter

An easily accessible filter, the use of which significantly extends the time between service inspections.
